At the entrance of Seoul Botanical Garden in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, you will find an eye-catching building with a unique exterior in the wide-open square. The square building built with concrete as it is with no painting creates a fancy but composed atmosphere, harmonizing with the landscape of the botanical garden. LG Art Center Seoul is the one, which is scheduled to open on the 13th.

Seokki Hong, executive director of Gansam who directed the building architecture said, “Architectural sound design requires the forms and materials that meet technical needs such as sound diffusion, sound absorption, and reflection," and explained "We recognized such needs intuitively and fulfilled the condition for performance hall technology and design at the same time."
