Lahan Select Gyeongju was re-positioned from a five-star hotel to a family leisure hotel by changing the interior and exterior designs and the programs for ancillary facilities in line with the recent changes in hotel trends. The hotel reorganized its F&B services, featuring selective dining to taste dishes prepared by famous chefs and restaurants, and created a cultural space called a ‘Walk in Gyeongju’ to experience the culture of Gyeongju. For the shape of the architecture, the balcony was designed with curves to emphasize the concept of the existing shape, integrating the consistent concept into the façade and also reflecting in the canopy at the main gate of the hotel.
