The Stanford Hotel & Resort Tongyeong is located in the natural archipelago and creates beautiful scenery that corresponds to a natural and soft flow along with International Music Hall in Tongyeong which is located nearby. It emphasizes a horizontal image with a motive of the cliff line and tries to realize symbolism as a marine resort and an image as a local landmark by embodying a yacht sailing the sea. Two programs as “a hotel” and “a condominium” in one building is applied to the Stanford Hotel & Resort Tongyeong. Therefore, subsidiary facilities that all users use together were planned at the lower part where is a public space and guest rooms where are private spaces were located at the upper part and they are separated as an individual area based on the core of each floor.
