Samsung Electronics P2 Cooperation Center

The Win-Win Cooperation Building was designed as an office space for partner companies that have moved into Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek Campus. The goal was to organize the space to improve the work environment of partners and build a smooth cooperative relationship by preparing facilities and office spaces bordering on those in the office buildings and welfare buildings inside the campus for Samsung Electronics employees. In the Win-Win Cooperation Building, which has offices and convenience facilities, the first floor comprises a restaurant and convenience facilities inside the security gate, and the second floor comprises welfare spaces, including training and resting areas. The third to fifth floors are office spaces. Although it is small, we labored at the harmony and differentiation in design with other buildings on the campus. At the client's request, we used the same concept applied to the interior space of the welfare building and completed a unified image by utilizing the elevation pattern of the existing office building. We excluded metal panels, which were consistently used as exterior materials in the Pyeongtaek Campus, and applied stone-like porcelain tiles to differentiate them in a luxurious way. The white mass floating from the floor with a two-story glass façade gives off an elegant yet light feeling.
