The POSCO Museum

For the POSCO Museum, which embodies environmental architecture based on the history of Pohang Steel, we created a dynamic structural beauty to capture an honest and strong corporate image. The POSCO Museum is a building that reflects the aesthetics of fluidity and changes of light that the museum pursue and it puts the biggest emphasis on the vitality of the museum. In the building, we floated one side of the huge three-story Glass Tube to eliminate the sense of weight like a floating ellipse. We installed a sphere symbolizing 'Earth' inside the Glass Tube as though it is gently floating on the water.
