This project, sited on the opposite side of Gangnam-daero in Seoul, began from drawing in the traffic lines of the floating population effectively. The conditions of the site allowed the construction of up to fifteen aboveground floors, but there were concerns about the investment values considering the vacancy rate of the high floors of the surrounding buildings. To relieve these concerns, the middle floor was specially designed to draw the floating population from the roadside as if it absorbing it. It was designed to quickly and intuitively transport the floating population from the roadside up to the middle floors through shuttle elevators and escalators and distribute traffic lines to their upper and lower floors naturally. As it is designed to attract trendy commercial facilities and various events in the middle stories, the lobby can be taken as the center of the building when compared with business facilities or hotels. The stores on the low floors are designed to go together with a kaleidoscopic atmosphere of the streets of Gangnam by making the best use of the variability of the space except for the main entrance considering the high rent and sensitivity to trends.
