Aquaplanet Jeju

The Aquaplanet Jeju project began in order to build an integrated maritime cultural park where guests can experience and enjoy the beauty of Seongsan Ilchulbong and the infinite potential of Jeju’s sea. The Central Court was portrayed as a blue volcano using the motif of the Jeju volcano, and Seongsan Ilchulbong that spreads panoramically inside the Central Court offers guests a special impression of Jeju. The aquarium boasts water capacity of 10,700 tons where 45,000 living marine organisms of 450 species live, which is world-class, and the 23m long and 8.5m high supersized water tank houses about 10,000 living marine organisms including a 15m whale shark that lives in an environment that most resembles the natural ecology.
