Ulsan Museum

A museum designer must seek a design that reflects the historical and cultural specialty of the region and harmonizes with the adjacent environment. Ulsan Museum has recreated Ulsan’s differentiated, unique Bangudae petroglyphs on its front and built a reflection pond, which symbolizes Taehwagang, on the bottom to add meaning. Efforts have been made to add history and culture to the trail considering its location inside a park. Consideration was made to ensure the Ulsan Museum, built amidst nature, harmonized with the surrounding ecosystem and the visitor flow.
