Korea’s largest data center that is unaffected by natural disasters like earthquakes or floods has opened its doors. As Korea’s first seismic isolation data center, it can provide uninterrupted service in the middle of an 8.0 earthquake and it is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which is unaffected even with a 5.5m-high tsunami or flood. The data center where the office facility is arranged southwest and composed of a double-skin exterior made of glass and rubber, controls solar radiation and circulation, and the main façade is built in slanted lattice. The office facility and the data processing facility have been arranged separately for airtight data security, and it has been built as an eco-friendly data center that minimizes energy use.
