Sinchon Severance Hospital's Woori Lounge project was about creating a place for waiting, resting, healing, and culture for patients in the atrium space. Sinchon Severance Hospital is one of the best general hospitals in Korea and is always crowded with patients who come for treatment and examination. Since there were many patients who had to wait for a long time and many patients who were exhausted, the hospital needed an appropriate resting space was required for them. Woori Lounge, which is planned for an expansion, maximized the indoor landscaping space

by using the existing changes in the level. It draws enough natural light in through the ceiling and the roof is designed in an open joint method to give a refined and clean image even when looking down from the upper floors of the main building. We divided the zones for each user to provide psychological healing through an indoor forest experience. The universal design has been applied to enhance the usability of each space and allow anyone to easily access the space and feel emotional satisfaction.
