The nursing facility constructed in Seocho intended to secure the maximum room mix within a limited land located within a residential area that was formed a long time, unlike newly built towns, and capture a space where convalescents could promote their mental and physical health even in a limited density. For this, the process of forming the unit care system and rooms followed the guidelines of Wirye, which was proven by post-occupancy evaluation. The lack of space was overcome in a nature-friendly way with active sunken planning, considering the limited land. The exterior design used bricks and gabled roofs to give an impression of a home-like nursing home. In particular, since it is an urban nursing facility in a high-end residential complex, we also emphasized spaces to communicate and get along with local residents. It made changes by making nursing facilities buildings that can fit into the city center without a sense of rejection, along with the case of Wirye, which successfully thinned down the uncomfortable feelings of our society against nursing facilities.
