Korea Life Insurance Head Office

The 63 Building has been garnering love from guests as a cultural space filled with amusement and entertainment as a symbol of Korea’s economic growth and Korea’s highest building. However, with deteriorating functions due to building aging as time passes every year and facing the process of a fading image, it plans to transform into a state-of-the-art intelligent building. The goals of Gansam were to upgrade the building’s image through remodeling and increase the building’s asset value via improvement of the work environment. The 63 Building renovation project for the first time used leading technology of resident status construction, offering a new paradigm for high-rise remodeling in Korea.
